HAPPY NEW YEAR.

H A P P Y  N E W  Y E A R.  2017

I wish the person that is reading this nothing but the best and may all your wishes come to reality. That all the good karma you put out into this world finds its way right back to you, be it in one day or one month. Positivity!

2016 has flown by so fast and so much has happened in my life over the year. There has been many high points and very low points in my 2016. At the beginning of the year I found out someone in my family had cancer which honestly hit me really hard and had me feel really sad about the whole situation. (Thankfully they are doing much better now) Then I got my very 1st fully OWN apartment (I am renting not bought), furnished and did everything with my own money. (INDEPENDENT WOMAN) I must say I am super proud of myself for that. I handed in my thesis and found out I failed it on the 1st try. (Was super down again about that) After I found out my Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle were coming to visit me in the Netherlands. (SUPER HAPPY moment) Redoing my thesis and then PASSING! (Proud moment) Then officially graduating from my bachelor study! (Phewwww) Those were the biggest/most highlighted moments from my 2016.

New Year….New Goals?

Of course! Ever year I make goals and keep them for myself. I don’t really share them with people because I feel like not everyone you share your goals with will support you. So to be safe just keep them to yourself and push to achieve them. I have my list of goals and hopefully by the end of 2017 I can mark off a few that I achieved. 🙂

One thing that I have noticed about myself is that I don’t celebrate the small or big moments enough. This year I will be working on celebrating every moment and actually inhaling all that is happening. Taking the time to process the happening. Along with that I want to continue to work on myself mentally. Developing more personally on a level and loving me MORE!

For my blogging and vlogging life I want to put myself on a schedule of a blog post every Wednesday and video every Sunday. I hope that this is something I can stick with because sometimes I allow other things to come in place of doing the things I have a passion for.

There is so much in life to be grateful for and I just hope that in 2017 I can practice what I preach. Giving GOOD VIBES ONLY!

WEEKLY OBSESSION | HAIR PRODUCT

Hi there!

My first ‘Obsession‘ of the YEAR goes to…. ORS – Curls unleased™ – Leave-In Conditioning Crème (cocoa & shea butter). I have been reaching for this leave-in ever since I purchased it. It goes great in combination with all of my favourite styling products, so no white product build-up! It has a very nutty, cocoa, shea butter smell & I love it! Another plus point of this product is that 16oz. of product sits in this big enough pot, meaning you can always reach for some leave-in and it won’t finish within 2 weeks. (NATURAL HAIR PROBLEMS)

Over all I am OBSESSED about this new leave-in from Curls unleased™. The only strange thing is that I can not find it on their website or much about it on a google search. I remember buying this product along with another ORS – Curls unleased™ product and paying only €10 for the two & for me that was a steal of a deal. (These deals you will usually catch at Natural Hair Events)

I use this Leave-In Conditioning Crème (cocoa & shea butter) right after I co-wash my hair. When I have time in shower I apply this leave-in to my very damp hair or sometimes when I am more in a rush I apply it out of shower to damp hair. After apply this leave-in I mainly reach for my favourite styling products and my Wash&Go is complete. Another way in which I like using this is when I am going to twist my hair. First spraying my hair lightly with water and then applying this leave it. It helps with the detangling process as well as adding back moisture to my hair.

I would highly recommend this product for those of you looking for a new leave-in. Give it a try and who knows this might just turn out to be your new ‘OBSESSION‘ as well 😉

Love always,

Sue-Jeen.
