Good News! + Collab with CocooAndCurls (YouTube Video)

Hi Followers!

I have some really good news to share, I passed my thesis defence! So that means that I am officially going to GRADUATE! Super cool & exciting, right?! I do find so myself!! Even though I am done with my Bachelor study, I am looking forward to starting something new 😉 ( I will share in the future) Currently I have my part-time job at Zara and seeing that I will not have to stress with school stuff anymore, I can now get back to Blogging & Vlogging. On my free days I am now going to dedicate them to being keeping myself busy with the things I love. [Creating content of course] I am extremely looking forward to what is to come. 😀

So starting off on a good note I created a make-up tutorial in collaboration with CocooAndCurls. We decided to do a make-up look which included something green. Below is the video of what I put together, a make-up look which included a POP of green in the waterline. This went live on Sunday, so check out the video below & don’f forge to give it a thumbs-up. ENTWINE NATURALLE COUTURE @PEARLEVENT

This past Sunday I was at the Pearl Event with Entwine Naturalle Couture. I stood with them as a ‘Brand Specialist’ and I must say I love doing this because I get to share the natural hair product’s information with others. I also get to meet so many different beautiful people.

During my conversations with the visiter I felt like my energy was running quite low. I was so tired from working about 8hrs the pervious day and being busy all week. However, I tried to do my best with interacting and asking the booth visitors if they heard or knew the product, shared information on how they assists with hydration and shared the specials we were offering at the event.

GRWM | RED LIPS GLAM @SJs_Obsessions

Hi Loves,

First video on my YouTube Channel for the year. In the video I share with you a look I wore over the weekend and I call it my ‘Red Lips Glam’. GRWM stands for Get Ready With Me, these videos are very popular on YouTube and I love creating them. This look was created using three shadows from the the Morphe 35O palette. This palette is very versatile and a lot of different looks can be created using it. This is a simple look that does not have too much shadows used and is easily to blend. Do you have it as yet?

On the day that I filmed I also took some beautiful pictures outside of my make-up look. Below I have added some pictures showing you how it looks in natural day light.

HOW I COVER MY ACNE SCARRING| 2015

Hi Loves,

I had to get this video filmed and shared before this year came to an end. My BIGGEST INSECURITY – MY ACNE SCARS. For the longest of time I have been dealing with having acne then it scarring and becoming dark marks/hyper-pigmentation. It happens because I squeeze or pick at them and even due to the fact that I do not treat them well at times. There is a lot of times when my skin has been picture perfect (hasn’t been so recently) and then times when it gets even worst then how it is now.

In my new video I share with you how I cover my acne scars with make-up. Of course I do not wear make-up every day for long periods every time, but I do when I go around people I do not know, to school and work. When I am finished with a long day the first thing I want to do is to take of the make-up once I am home! [Relief] Also I usually keep one or two days of the week to not wear make-up and just let my face breathe.

Tropical Summer Vacation|Vlog 3

Hi!!

I know, I know….it has a month since I am back from vacation & I am only now uploading my last Vlog of my Tropical Summer Vacation. But life happened and I was not feeling motivated to upload anything. During my vacation the time it took to upload really turned me off. I mean do you think 3 days to upload one little video is normal? (LOL)

Anyway, in this my new video I share some beautiful scenery from the islands Saba and St.Maarten. I must say I dearly miss the clear blue skies 🙁 Oh well I have these videos to look back on the moments I had.

Hi Loves!

While on vacation in Saba I took so many pictures! I thought it would be a great idea to share some of them with. Below you will get to enjoy them, showing the scenery and floral on Saba 🙂

At the ending I have added a few pictures that I took on St.Maarten right before leaving to return back to the Netherlands. I miss being on the island with my family and friends. This summer was so much fun and I enjoyed everyday of it.

Villages on SABA

Hi There!

So I am back with another post about the lovely island that I was raised on – SABA!

There are four beautifully unique is villages on Saba, namely The Bottom, St.John’s, Windwardside and Zion’s Hill.

The capital of the island is The Bottom, there you can find the Government building, the hospital and also the harbour. Moving up the island you get to St.John’s, where all the kids on the island go to both primary and high school. (There’s only one of each on the island. lol.)In the Windwardside you can find a variety of shops and restaurants. Last but not least is Zions’s Hill here is where everyone will experience that “I survived the Saba landing”. Saba’s airport is one of the shortest commercial runways in the world. (It is about 396 meters (1,299 ft) long)

Tropical Summer Vacation | Saba

My Tropical Summer Vacation is coming to an end soon…

Since I have been on Saba I haven’t been blogging as frequently as I would have liked. This is because I was having a great time with family and friends. I know this is no excuse but I am finally here! For this week I plan on uploading a new blog post every day. The blog post will be about different activities/the daily life on Saba. Seeing that Saba is not so widely known I thought I would share a few fun facts about the island.

Saba Fun Facts

  • Location: Latitude – 17.38 North ~ Longitude – 63.13 West in the northeastern Caribbean Sea.
  • Population: About 1,400.
  • The island surface = 13 square kilometres (5 square miles).
  • Also known as “The Unspoiled Queen”.
  • Great for Hiking & Diving.
  • Only one airline lands on the island. (Windward Island Airways)

Saba is so unique, to the point that it does not always show up on the map. (Amazing right?!) This is a great point but is also a bit of a down fall. Saba has so much to offer to its inhabitants as well as visitors. It is a very small island that is surrounded by endless ocean.

A few weeks ago I went on a day trip with the Dawn II (The Saba Ferry) to St.Maarten. In St.Maarten is where most people from Saba shops for different wholesale/retail daily needs. While on the island for the day I decided to shop for some cosmetics because during my stay on Saba I am doing different people’s makes-up. I got so much new goodies and was extremely contented with them.

It was my first time in a long time being on a boat. But I am so thankful that I took some sea sick tablets before going on board they helped me feel so much better. Two tips I have for anyone that are going on board the boat/ferry is to take sea sick pills before and to keep your head up and do not look down.;) (you will thank me later!) The boat ride to St.Maarten is about an hour and forty five minutes.
